Some shoots just work. The Neff social video series was one of those.
Produced by edFILM for Krow Communications’ Birmingham agency, this suite of social content films features Michelin-starred TV chef Tom Kerridge, shot on location in Berkshire at Tom's own development kitchen, the perfect setting to showcase NEFF's premium kitchen appliances in a genuinely authentic environment.
We went in with a two-camera crew, which gave us the flexibility to capture both the detail and the performance simultaneously, essential when you're working with a talent-led format and want to keep energy and spontaneity in the edit. Having two cameras rolling meant we could cover Tom working at the appliances while simultaneously grabbing his natural reactions and presenting moments, without constantly stopping and resetting.
And Tom, as anyone who has worked with him might expect, was an absolute professional. His calm, experienced presence on set meant the whole day flowed smoothly, just how Ed likes thing. No fuss, no wasted time, just a relaxed, focused atmosphere that translated directly into great footage. When your talent is that comfortable in front of a camera, it makes everyone's job easier and the results speak for themselves.
The finished films are warm, credible and grounded in real cooking craft. Exactly what a brand like NEFF needs from its social content.
